Ride to Boston Bikes Women's Bike Festival

We'll bike from the Monument at South and Centre in Jamaica Plain through Roslindale Square to the Women's Bike Festival in Millennium Park, using mostly bike lanes, bike paths, and back streets. We'll get to the Park in time to register for rides, though you can register in advance here. It's $35.00, $10.00 for 6-12-year-old girls.

  • Where: Meet at the Monument at the intersection of Centre and South Streets in Jamaica Plain.
    or at the corner of Adams Park at South and Poplar Streets in Roslindale
  • When: Departing at 7:30 am from the Monument in JP and 7:45 from Adams Park in Roslindale
  • Distance: about 13 miles round trip
  • Pace: Relaxed, probably 8-10 MPH.
  • Terrain: Mostly flat with a few hills.
  • Route: Mixture of bike lanes, bike paths, and minor streets.

Getting There

Bicycle

Take the Emerald Necklace to the Eliot St. walk light at the south end of Jamaica Pont and follow Eliot St. to the Monument.

MBTA

You can take your bike on the Orange Line to the Green Street station, bike up Green St. to Centre, and turn left to the Monument Details are on the MBTA website.
