Getting There

From Forest Hills Station or end of the Southwest Corridor, ride east toward Franklin Park and follow Morton St. (the major street with a paved shoulder) at the rotary. Cross Blue Hill Ave. and turn right on Norfolk St., then left on Mildred St. to the start.
From Dorchester, take Gallivan Blvd. or Morton St. west past their merger and turn left on Norfolk St. after crossing the railroad tracks.

You can take your bike to Forest Hills or Ashmont and follow the directions above. The Fairmount branch, which stops at Morton St., very near the start, does not run on Saturdays. Details are on the MBTA website.

You can turn around at Mattapan Square or Dorchester Lower Mills. The closest T station to most of the ride is Ashmont on the Red Line, but it is a hike.
