After the Blizzard in Boston
Saturday, February 9, 2013

After Boston's first major blizzard in two years, I shoveled my front
walk, Skyped with my daughter in Beirut, and headed off on skis toward
Franklin Park, traveling away from streets through St. Michael's and
Forest Hills Cemeteries. I turned back at the far end of Forest
Hills when I hit salted pavement for the first time (and so I could get
home before the streets opened up to cars at 4:00 pm.
